Welcome ...
2014!
We
would like to wish
all our valued customers and clients a successful and
blessed 2014!
Our grateful thanks for all
your support throughout the past years.
As before we are striving to continue to
deliver the same high level of service and expertise in the forthcoming year!
Although we say a sad farewell to some of our
instructors and wish them well in their future ventures, we also very excited to welcome our new instructors 'on
board' and assure you that they too will offer you the same high level of
expertise.
All our instructors are updated as per the new CPR guidelines as issued by the American Heart Association
(see www.heart.org) in
conjunction with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa (see
www.resuscouncil.co.za) that were released in
November 2010 and we are looking forward to
sharing this new and exciting information with you! There are also new courses
that we are now offering and urge you to find further details on our 'Course
Info' page.
Albeit that most of our course certification is valid for
two years, it is recommended to update more often to ensure the
participant remains confident with the material. Our courses are recognised by
Discovery Health and 2500 Vitality Points are awarded on successful completion
of the course
(see www.discovery.co.za for more
information.)
Although our prices remain influenced
by the exchange rate (in keeping with the
Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa
and
American Heart Association guidelines) as
our course material and various products are imported, we are striving to keep
our costs competitive and affordable in the year ahead!
It appears that these courses although important are
becoming costly especially to the larger organizations. One of the ways we recommend,
to get around this issue, is to alternate the staff over a two year period with half
the participants completing a course in the first year and the rest in the second year, thus
ensuring everyone is trained over this two year period but essentially at half
the yearly cost.
As always we pride ourselves on
our ‘client orientated service’ ethic:
-
Customizing of
courses to the specific and individual needs of the participants.
-
Presentation of
the courses in the comfort of your own home or business environment whilst still
maintaining the high standards that we have become renowned for.
-
Encouraging those
participants that are not 100% confident to ‘re-practise’ their skills with us, at no
additional cost, as we strongly believe that more ‘hands-on’ practise time is of
great benefit.
-
Notes on basic first aid training are included
with some of the courses offered, to assist
participants to deal with basic emergencies with more confidence.
-
Courtesy calls to
give feedback to employers.
-
Advice on the
stocking/and updating of first aid bags/boxes etc. and we now also stock 'Child
First Aid' Kits and customize Adult kits to order.
-
Offering of
medical advice and referrals as needed.
-
Assisting
charitable organizations and presenting courses to further educate, empower and
enrich those in less fortunate communities.
Regards
and Best Wishes for 2014!
